Lake Washington Institute of Technology Open House Tomorrow!

Lake Washington Institute of Technology has invited members and friends of Audi Club Northwest to attend the “LWTech Open House” next Tuesday March 1st between 4:00pm and 7:00pm on their Kirkland campus.  Description and directions here: /span>http://www.lwtech.edu/become_a_student/open_house/default.aspx>

Audi of America donated a new 2015 Audi Q3 and diagnostic tools for their Automotive Repair Technician program.  The local Audi dealers (Bellevue, Seattle, Tacoma) have agreed to employ five graduating students per year.  This is a great partnership, with real economic and brand impact for our region.  The press release is attached below for your review.

Let’s go show our support and meet some Audi Club members at the same time.  Parking is free.  The visit is easy.  There are snacks.
No registration is required, and we can plan to show up about 5:00pm.  We can tour the shop and ask questions.

The Open House showcases LWTech programs, including auto technician repair, video game design, culinary arts, funeral education, architecture, and many more.  LWTech offers three bachelor’s degrees, 40 associate degrees and 83 professional certificates in 50 areas of study, including STEM-focused programs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.  So much to see at the Open House!

Nolan Koreski, faculty for LWTech’s Auto Repair Technician program, said, “Not only do we get the car with all the latest hardware and software, we also get a higher depth of support from Audi.” Koreski said some students graduate from this program with no debt because they make enough to support themselves and pay tuition by working at local dealerships in the afternoon.
