ACNW Annual Events

Following is a brief description of our annual events. In the few months prior to each event, more information about the event and how to register will be put on this website and on our event registration website. In addition to these annual events we offer other driving, educational and social events so please check our calendar regularly for a full list.

For an idea of what our driving schools are like:

Click here to see Saturday Driver's Education at the 2011 Matt Ammon Memorial Driving School and Teen Clinic at Bremerton Motorsports Park.

University of Quattro

This is a one day driving school at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA, typically held in late February or early March. The day offers adult and teen driving clinics for new and novice drivers, and an autocross in the afternoon.

Son of Quattrofest

Son of Quattrofest is so named because it is the "light" version of our signature event, Quattrofest. Son of Quattrofest has traditionally been held at Portland International Raceway in Portland, OR, in late February or early March but beginning in 2013 it is held at The Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, WA. It is a one day event of lapping on the road course for intermediate and advanced drivers, and also for novices who have previously participated in a high performance driver’s school with ACNW or another car club.

Verloren Gehen

Verloren Gehen was introduced in April 2011 and it is held at Oregon Raceway Park in Grass Valley, OR. It is a two day event of lapping on the road course for intermediate and advanced drivers, and also for novices who have previously participated in a high performance driver’s school with ACNW or another car club.

Matt Ammon Memorial Driving School

This is a two day driving school at Bremerton Motorsports Park in Port Orchard, WA, typically held in May. Saturday offers adult and teen driving clinics for new and novice drivers, while intermediate and advanced drivers run an autocross. Everyone runs the autocross on Saturday afternoon. Sunday is a full day of lapping on the road course for all drivers (except teens).

Tours

Tours are a chance for Audi owners to have some fun driving their cars on fun and interesting roads as a group. Tours are conducted on secondary roads that offer twists and turns with beautiful scenery in the greater Puget Sound area during the spring, summer or fall months. Tours also offer an opportunity to socialize over a picnic lunch or dinner at a restaurant.

QuattroCross

This is an all-day autocross at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA, typically held in June. This is ACNW's spin on a formula that has been around for years. Take a huge chunk of asphalt and turn it into a safe and fun learning environment where drivers can challenge themselves without some of the wear and tear that accompany a typical track day. Utilizing the oval banking at the facility provides a truly unique autocross course that allows pushing one's car to the limits in very safe surroundings.

Audi Car Corral

The Pacific Northwest Historics is a major fund-raiser for Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle and typically takes place over the Fourth of July weekend at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA. ACNW hosts the Audi Quattro car corral at this event. Tickets for the car corral are offered at a discount. The car corral features prime event parking and "pace" laps in your own car on the road course Saturday and Sunday.

Geschwindigkeit

Geschwindigkeit was introduced in July 2010 and sold out quickly so it has become an annual fixture on our calendar. Geschwindigkeit is held at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA. It is a one day event of lapping on the road course for intermediate and advanced drivers, and also for novices who have previously participated in a high performance driver’s school with ACNW or another car club.

Strassenlage

Strassenlage was introduced in August 2012 and it is held at The Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, WA. It is a two day event of lapping on the road course for intermediate and advanced drivers, and also for novices who have previously participated in a high performance driver’s school with ACNW or another car club.

Maryhill Loops Road Tour and Wine Tasting

The Maryhill Loops Road Tour and Wine Tasting event was brand new for ACNW in 2008 and it was so popular it has become an annual event. This event takes place on a Saturday in mid-September as a drive on the privately owned Maryhill Loops Road, reserved exclusively for us. The day finishes up with wine tasting and a catered dinner at The Glass Onion Restaurant. Friday offers an organized caravan from the Puget Sound area to Goldendale, WA for those who are interested.

Quattrofest

Quattrofest is our signature event of the year. It is held at Portland International Raceway in Portland, OR, typically in November when the weather allows the benefits of quattro to be demonstrated. This event takes place over two days. Saturday offers adult and teen driving clinics for new and novice drivers, while intermediate and advanced drivers lap on the road course. Saturday afternoon the new and novice drivers and teens and their parents run an autocross. Sunday is a full day of lapping on the road course for all drivers (except teens). This event includes chalk talks, a commemorative t-shirt, door prizes, an auction, a dinner banquet on Saturday night, and an opportunity to meet many terrific people.

Holiday Party

Our annual holiday party in early December is a great evening to get together with other Audi enthusiasts. Whether someone is new to the Audi family or has been a long time member, this is a fun evening to relive stories of the fun events of the year, and look forward to the next. ACNW provides beverages and a catered dinner.
